In this video from Olin Business School, WashU alum Atima Lui talks about being the importance of being a “servant leader” and putting people on the same level as profits.

Washington University in St. Louis alum Atima Lui (BSBA’ 12) founded Nudest, a company that uses artificial intelligence to match skin tones to beauty products. She wanted to use technology to address gaps in the cosmetics industry and provide products to people of all skin colors. Nudest was recently acquired by AlgoFace, an AI and Augmented Reality company.  Lui continues to apply data-driven solutions to diversify the cosmetics industry as AlgoFace’s Chief Marketing Officer. Lui credits her Olin experience, and her involvement in the Skandalaris Center‘s StEP program with teaching her about servant leadership and combining data-driven solutions with human values.
