About Bear Studios
Bear Studios was founded by Peter Delaney and Will Papper. It is currently run by the founders as well as Avi Felman. Delaney and Papper came up with the idea to start a student-run accelerator their freshman year when they noticed that their friends with business ideas were having a difficult time finding people with the technical skills to bring their ideas to fruition, and their friends with technical skills were having a hard time connecting with businesses.
Their solution is two-pronged: The 16 undergraduates on the Bear Studios team consult with and do technical work for more established business on campus and in the community for a small fee. They reinvest the money they make back into the incubation of earlier-stage startups that they accelerate.
