On April 3, Heather E. Cameron was installed as the Michael B. Kaufman Professor of Practice in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Washington University in St. Louis.

Cameron developed and teaches a multidisciplinary curriculum centered on social innovation and entrepreneurship in the Brown School. She also advises master’s and doctoral students who aim to build their own careers and enterprises.

Cameron has founded multiple award-winning social enterprises centered around education and sports for community development. She is the founder or Boxgirls, an international organization that uses sports to create social change and encourages girls and young women to become leaders.
