In this academic year alone, the Skandalaris Center has supported and partnered with over 800 individuals through fourteen core programs, engaging with a broad range of creative and talented individuals from across roles and disciplines at WashU.

To honor this vibrant community of dreamers and doers, on April 11, 2018, Skandalaris hosted its inaugural Skandy Awards, a celebration of all things creative, innovative, and entrepreneurial from the academic year. Over drinks, hors-d’oeuvres, and live jazz, the center recognized this year’s competition winners and awarded Skandy Awards to nine individuals and organizations.

It was an honor to have the center’s namesake, Bob Skandalaris, in attendance to help present the awards.
