Crowd of people at a hackathon

GlobalHack VII is coming! Early registration is now

In October 2018, GlobalHack VII will host a hackathon in St. Louis aimed at positively reshaping the experiences of immigrants and immigrant communities.

The hackathon is being presented in partnership with Casa de Salud, The International Institute, The St. Louis Mosaic Project and the Immigrant Service Providers Network (ISPN) among others.

During the hackathon, participating teams of all levels of skill and experience will work collaboratively with industry experts to build tools, apps and platforms aimed at improving the experiences of foreign-born people, in St. Louis and beyond. Technologists, students and creatives from around the world are invited to participate.

A total of $100,000 in cash prizes will be awarded to the top three teams in three divisions: Youth, College, and Pro.

$2,500 will be awarded to the team that displays the best team spirit. Team costumes or uniforms, posts to GlobalHack’s social media accounts, and offers of help to beginner teams are all ways teams can build points in this category.

GlobalHack VII will be October 12-14, 2018, at Chaifetz Arena on the Saint Louis University campus.

Early registration is open now.
