Fall 2018 was record-breaking, with the university awarding nearly a half-million dollars across ten teams — the most teams ever awarded in a single cycle.

Funding isn’t the only benefit of the program. Over a two-month period, program participants are advised how to develop a focused plan for moving their research from the lab to the marketplace, then receive feedback on the plan from industry leaders. The education component of the program was enhanced this cycle to positive reviews: 95 percent of participants reported it was essential in creating a strong development plan.

Meet the winning teams.

The Spring 2019 LEAP cycle opens January 28. Interested research teams can register here.
