Washington University’s Global Impact Award gives prizes of $50,000 to scalable and sustainable business ventures.

Since 2013, through the generosity of donors Suren G. Dutia and Jas. K. Grewal, Wash U’s Global Impact Awards have been awarded to entrepreneurs from the WashU community to support their sustainable and high-impact business ventures.

On October 23rd, 6 finalists will compete for a $50,000 prize. Selected from a pool of applicants back in April, each business venture has since been paired with relevant industry mentors to guide them in making connections that will ensure the future success of their project. After 6 months of mentorship and preparation, the teams will present to an esteemed panel of judges where they will be evaluated on criteria such as feasibility and social value.
