Schoology is the award-winning CODiE learning management system that allows students, teachers, parents and others involved in a student’s education to collaborate and increase learning outcomes. Schoology is used worldwide in K-12, higher education and corporations.
Jeremy Friedman, Ryan Hwang and Tim Trinidad graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 2009. They conceived of Schoology in 2007 and took advantage of the Washington University curricular and cocurricular opportunities. Bill Kindler, a Colgate student, was the fourth member of the founding team.

Schoology raised its first institutional funding of $1.25 million in 2010. Since then, Schoology has received additional capital from top-tier investors including FirstMark Capital and Intel Capital. To date, Schoology has raised a total of $25 million, continuing to expand its offerings and global presence.
