“We are thrilled, after a national search, to have Emily join us as Executive Director,” says Jerry Schlichter, Chairman of Arch Grants. He added, “Emily demonstrates what is core to the mission of Arch Grants – attracting and retaining national talent in St. Louis – plus she is a founder herself. Emily’s nonprofit fundraising and leadership experience will ensure that Arch Grants has the direction and resources to continue the transformation of St. Louis into an innovation hub. She has returned to St. Louis, planting her flag here to help to build a new St. Louis – the same mission as that of Arch Grants.”

Since being founded in 2012, Arch Grants has awarded more than $5 million worth of non-dilutive grants to nearly 100 startups. Those companies have gone on to generate roughly $50 million in revenue, create more than 1,000 jobs and raise more than $100 million from investors in follow-on capital.
