The company, which launched last December, is an app-based mobile platform for truck drivers to create profiles similar to a LinkedIn page. Companies looking to hire truck drivers can pay for access to the profiles. The app also supports information-sharing among truck drivers aimed at solving driver-satisfaction problems.

This round of seed money follows a $75,000 financing that Truck Driver Power raised in May from Memphis-based venture capital fund Innova and the Entrepreneurship-Powered Innovation Center Logistics Innovation Accelerator, a Memphis-based program backed by FedEx.
