WashU alumni among EY Entrepreneur of the Year finalists

Two WashU alumni, David Dresner, BSBA ’10, and Chuck Cohn, BSBA ’08, are among the finalists for EY’s 2017 Entrepreneur Of The Year awards. The annual program, now in its 31st year, recognizes entrepreneurs who excel in innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.

Dresner is the founder of Sleeve a Message which began as a class project during his time at WashU. Cohn is founder and CEO of Varsity Tutors, a company also founded while he was a student at WashU.

This year in the Central Midwest region, there are eight finalists from the St. Louis area, up from three in 2016.
