The deadline to apply for the Skandalaris Center‘s Summer 2020 Internship Program is Feb 9. The program offers entrepreneurial internships to all undergraduate students regardless of their major.
About the Program
The Skandalaris Internship Program enables students to intern at a local early-stage startup and offers an introduction to the entrepreneurial environment in St. Louis. Interns will work at their internship most of the week, then each Wednesday afternoon will participate in special programming such as tours of entrepreneurial communities, networking events and panel discussions. Internships vary from company to company and depend heavily on what the company needs and what skills the student brings. Popular sectors include marketing, sales, market research, social media/communications, software development and product development.
“This program allows students to have a high-impact internship, often early in their college career, and gives early-stage ventures the benefit of much-needed assistance. It also gives our students a view into the thriving St. Louis entrepreneurial community and contributes to their post-graduation plans,” said Jessica Weldon, Assistant Director of Programs at Skandalaris.
Applications close Feb. 9th, 2020 at 11:59pm.
