July 9 -15 – BALSA Foundation Grant Applications

The BALSA Grant is designed for first-time St. Louis entrepreneurs wanting to start or grow their early stage business in St. Louis. Applications from all business sectors, nonprofit, and for-profit organizations are welcome. Applications are open until July 15, and another round will open next January.

July 11 – StartLouis Meetup

The StartLouis vision as an ESO (Entrepreneur Support Organization) is to be a starting point for entrepreneurs and startups in the greater St. Louis area. This meetup offers an opportunity to network with others in the startup community and gain access to valuable resources.

July 12 – 1 Million Cups

1 Million Cups is a free, weekly national program designed to educate, engage, and connect entrepreneurs. Developed by the Kauffman Foundation, 1MC is based on the notion that entrepreneurs discover solutions and network over a million cups of coffee.

July 13 – Venture Cafe Gathering

The weekly gathering of innovators and startups. A place for serendipitous collisions to occur. Each week there are roundtable discussions, information tables, office hours with thought leaders, and guest speakers relevant to the ecosystem.

July 15 – Square One Boot Camp Applications Open

CET’s flagship program for entrepreneurs, Square One (SQ1), is a hands-on training program designed to provide support to early-stage and first-time business owners in the St. Louis region actively engaged in the development of a bioscience, information technology or advanced manufacturing/consumer product enterprise. Applications for the sponsored Boot Camp will be open until August 15.
