April 7 – Skandalaris Center Cup Finals

Skandalaris Center Cup finalists present their new venture ideas for the finals. Skandalaris Center Cup finalists are early-stage ventures pitching their ideas to our expert mentors in hopes of commercializing their ideas. There are up to $5,000 in awards available for the ventures.

April 7 – Skandalaris Center Cup Award Ceremony

Skandalaris Center Cup finalists are early-stage ventures pitching their ideas to our expert mentors in hopes of commercializing their ideas. There are up to $5,000 in awards available for the ventures. Refreshments will be served. This event is open to WashU students, alumni, faculty, staff, and community members. Space is limited.

April 7 – Meetup STL LeadingAge HackFest

Meetup STL is looking for a good mix of talented people from a variety of backgrounds – both students and nonstudents – to be part of our local LeadingAge HackFest, where you will use technology to solve challenges facing older adults.

April 8 – Campus-Wide IdeaBounce hosted by EVCA

The Olin Business School’s Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Association is co-hosting a campus-wide IdeaBounce, where anyone from the WashU community can pitch their ideas and receive feedback to help move their ideas forward. Held during the MBA admitted students weekend, this is a great opportunity to see what’s happening in innovation and entrepreneurship at WashU. All students, faculty and staff are welcome to submit ideas and to attend the pitch competition. There will be a networking reception following the pitches. If you are interested in pitching an idea, post your idea to the IdeaBounce website.

April 8 – Entrepreneurship 101 Workshop Series

Sixth in our workshop series on the fundamentals of entrepreneurship. This week’s topic: Putting it all together, pt. 1 – Financial Projections. Open to all WashU students, faculty, and staff.
